Florida has potential for better
For the most part, the Panthers have had a convincing fall. Fourth place in the Eastern Conference is respectable, given how many good teams the conference is packing this year. Let’s not forget that the Panthers have also had their fair share of injuries already this season. Now the team is essentially healthy.

It’s not hard to name the team’s best player so far. Sam Reinhart has 16 goals already, more than half of his total from last season. What’s more, Florida has offensive firepower easily for three lines. That makes it possible to fight for the championship again this season.
The Panthers aren’t even running on full cylinders just yet. Injury-hit Sam Bennett, Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour can be better than what we’ve seen. For example, Bennett has only four points in twelve games. During the last playoffs, Bennett was one of the best players on his team.
Dallas also has depth
The Dallas Stars have a team profile similar to Florida’s. The Stars are also a high-quality team with significant depth. I’m expecting both teams to make a deep run in the spring.
Dallas can match Florida’s offensive power, especially with its top line. Roope Hintz, Joe Pavelski and Jason Robertson are all excellent and even slightly underrated players. Miro Heiskanen may not be a point-per-game guy on defense, but when Heiskanen is on the ice, the Stars are dominating opponents with almost a 59 percent xG 5v5.
Two bets on the match
In terms of betting, this is a fascinating match on sides and totals. Defensively, I rank Dallas higher in the team comparison. I would accept anything better than -112 for the visitors’ moneyline, whereas Unibet has -103 for Dallas. That’s worth two units.
The second bet goes for over. I consider both Dallas and Florida to be somewhat higher-scoring teams than the market expects. Over 6.5 goals, including overtime and penalties, is the result roughly 55 times out of a hundred. Unibet disagrees with fantastic odds of +112, which I like for another seven units.
