Injuries to Andre Burakovsky and Jordan Eberle exacerbate problems in the offensive game. There is a desperate shortage of finishers in the top lines, especially since Matty Beniers and Jared McCann have taken a step back compared to last season.
Under is the way to go
In Edmonton’s games, the default is usually on the high scoring end of the total range. Today the situation may be different, as Seattle has nothing to challenge the home team offensively. The Kraken will have to build on a humble mindset through defensive play while hoping for an above-average performance from their goalie.
I’m liking the under on a line of 6.5 with OT and shootout included. This selection is +112 at the time of writing. That is good, as I expect this pick to cash over half the time. We can go for half our max bet with nice expected value.
